Most local business networks fall into one of two camps. Either they are highly structured weekly meetings with attendance rules and referral quotas, or they are loose social events with no real focus. KNEKT sits in the middle.

Our format is professional enough to generate genuine business connections, but relaxed enough that members actually look forward to the meetings. There are no awkward icebreakers, no scoring system and no pressure to deliver a referral every month. Instead, each meeting brings together a curated room of local business owners for an afternoon of conversation, introductions and a short, useful presentation from the meeting sponsor.

What happens at a KNEKT meeting

Meetings start at 3pm on a Friday and run for around two hours. As you arrive at the Village Hotel, you check in with your business details, which appear on a screen during the event so everyone in the room knows who they are talking to.

After a period of open networking, every member is given the chance to introduce themselves and their business. At around 4pm, the meeting sponsor delivers a short, focused presentation on a topic of practical value to other business owners in the room. The remainder of the afternoon is given over to free networking and conversation, and after the event all attendee details are circulated by email so you can follow up on the connections you made.

Who attends KNEKT

Our members are owners, partners and senior decision makers from a broad range of Warrington businesses, including accountants, photographers, virtual assistants, IT and communications providers, marketing specialists, financial advisers and travel professionals. We deliberately keep the membership varied so that the room is full of complementary, rather than competing, businesses. That means more useful introductions for you, and more value for everyone in the room.

Membership and guest invitations

KNEKT membership costs £245 for a full year and includes:

• A guaranteed invitation to every monthly meeting for twelve months
• A personal introduction at every event
• Your business listed in our online Business Directory, with a link back to your website
• Regular promotion of your business across our social media channels

If you would like to attend before committing to membership, you can request a guest invitation. Guest places are offered free of charge, but they are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis depending on numbers attending.

Where and when we meet
